WHAT COVID MEASURES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE?

We adhere to latest government requirements and as an outdoor sports facility we are considered lower risk.  If you have concerns please just ask us.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A BUOYANCY AID?

You will be issued with a buoyancy aid and are required to wear this at all times whilst on the water.

IF I CAN’T SWIM, CAN I STILL HIRE A BOARD OR KAYAK?

Sorry, no we do require you to be a competent swimmer.

WHAT DOES HIRE INCLUDE?

SUP board, coil leash, paddle and buoyancy aid (wet suits are not included but can be hired for an additional charge).

ARE YOU OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND?

We operate a concession on the beach from March to end of October at GLO Wellbeing by Sea Lane Cafe. River trips continue throughout the winter and 1-2-1 lessons continue year round, as long as you have the correct seasonal gear.

WHAT TIME DO YOU OPEN?

Every day is different due to the tides in Worthing. We have maximum of an 8 hour day, 4 hours either side of high tide. Please see tides times here.

DO YOU SUPPLY ALL THE GEAR & BUOYANCY AID?

Yes we do, all gear is inclusive in prices except for wetsuits.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON YOUR SUP BOARDS?

Absolutely, we love dogs as much as humans so whether it’s 2 feet or 4 paws, all welcome at GLO! We have doggy buoyancy aids too!

HOW CAN WE PAY?

We accept payment by both cash and card.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND YOUR RETREATS?

We keep the numbers small and intimate so we can offer maximum time with each person (maximum 12).

CAN WE HIRE A SUP BOARD AND GO ON THE SEA, EVEN IF WE’VE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE?

Safety is paramount and we will not allow board hire if you are not a regular or experienced SUPer. If in doubt, book a lesson so you are paddling safely and up more quickly.

CAN WE JOIN A RIVER TRIP IF WE HAVEN’T DONE SUP BEFORE?

Sorry, no. You must be able to paddle, either by having a lesson with GLO or already be a competent paddler.
