ABOUT

Now in our seventh season, GLO was born out of our passion for SUP.  We are dedicated to giving you a friendly, exciting and safe SUP or kayak adventure on the water.  You’ll be equipped with top quality gear (Red Paddle SUP boards) and learn your skills from BSUPA Instructors; all ensuring you have fun and are safe on the water.

We are proud to operate in the natural, beautiful setting of Goring Beach and run our river trips on local rivers with stunning settings.  Paddle boarding is pure magic, from gentle river trips and calm seas to conquering the swells and waves if you wish to advance.

Come and get involved with the fastest growing sport world-wide, it’s great for all ages so don’t let a number put you off - from the youngest to the very wise you’ll be sure to have fun, fun, fun!

Andi looks forward to meeting you soon.

Andi Derrick

GLO is Andi’s dream business, working on the beach and rivers in beautiful surroundings and meeting amazing people.  For the last 26 years Andi has worked as a foley artist in the film industry, spending all of her time in dark and dusty studios creating soundtracks for film and tv.

Everything changed in 2015, from a chance encounter on a Greek island, when Andi witnessed first-hand stand up paddleboarding. She was smitten from the get go, came back to the UK and bought her first Red paddleboard, the rest is history. Andi’s passion is teaching SUP and you will find her on the water enjoying everything to do with SUP, SUP-surf and now wing surfing, which she hopes to teach in the near future!

A firm believer in healing energy, Andi has studied, amongst other things, a Japanese form of energy healing called Jin shin jytsui (jit-su), and knows the benefits of playing in the brilliance of nature, tapping into our natural healing abilities that she believes we all possess.

Here’s to being in the NOW! 🙏🙌

Sarah Metcalfe

Several years ago now, and as a now rare sight of a lone paddler, Sarah was paddling along the Goring coastline on her Red paddleboard when she saw some like minded individuals who had set up a concession on the beach. She immediately turned her board towards the shore and paddled in to meet these fellow SUPers.

Sarah has paddled for Dragon-boat and Outrigger teams in Asia and Australia, and due to her love of all sports on the water, qualified as a BSUPA Instructor and is delighted to be a part of GLO.

It’s the only way to GLO! 🙏🙌
